Old Forester 1897 is the second release in the Old Forester Whiskey Row Series. It was created to honor the U.S. Bottled‑in‑Bond Act of 1897, which established strict quality standards for American whiskey. This bourbon follows all Bottled‑in‑Bond rules:
- At least 4 years old
- 100 proof
- Distilled in one season, by one distiller, at one distillery
- Aged in a federally bonded warehouse
